rule.

SMOKING
As is usually the case, there is no smoking is permitted in the unit.
Smokers may enjoy one of four outside locations (two decks, one open one
enclosed; the front porch; and the backyard. I enjoy the backyard in the
Adirondack chairs watching the sun go down over the lake.

HOW MANY TENANTS?
We believe six adults are the most that can comfortably
enjoy the premises, plus maybe a couple of small
children.

DO I NEED A PASS?
A pass for beach, pool, or dock areas is required,
and will be found in the unit. Access to the swimming
pool is by PIN code, and a PIN number will be
furnished to you by the managing agent upon your
arrival. Instructions will be given with lease, and is available in the book located on the kitchen
counter when you arrive. This book will help you with directions on how to
use some appliances, TV, etc. Bathroom Access
for both the swimming areas is by key.
This key will be conveniently located in the
unit. Also readily available will be the emergency phone numbers and
other important information that you might want at your fingertips.

CAN I BRING MY OWN BOAT?
Yes, there is a beautiful sheltered cove and private dock. Green Harbour
does not have its own launch ramp, so you will need to make arrangements with
a local marina to put in/take out. The length of the private dock is twenty
feet. If your boat is longer than that, unfortunately, we would not be able
to accommodate your boat. Discuss with me when we speak if you have specific
questions, I know of launch sites where they could
accommodate your boat and
they will store your trailer.

IS THE UNIT ON THE WATER'?
Can you walk out the back door and be on the lake's edge, no. Green Harbour
units are to the west of Route 9, halfway up the mountain. That gives them
a panoramic view of the lake and mountain; as you see from the pictures.
You do not get these views when you are on the lake. Green Harbour has a
tremendous private waterfront beach and private dockage, as you can also see
in the pictures. There are restroom facilities and you can take a walk
along a quiet road along the lake.

GETTING TO THE WATERFRONT
The Green Harbour waterfront is within walking
distance. HOWEVER the hill back up is so steep
most people prefer to drive. So, drive down to
Route 9 (the main road), and make a left. Almost
immediately on your right you will see another
Green Harbour sign. Make a right there, and follow
it down to the beach , it takes about 2 minutes and there is plenty of parking,
remember your cooler. The boat dock is also right next to the beach. There
are some watercrafts for you to use.

DIRECTIONS
From New York City and south, take Route 87 North.
At Albany, make sure you stay on 87 North in the
direction of Montreal. Technically you are exiting
the New York State Thruway here (exit 24). Continue
on 87 North (aka the 'Northway') to exit 22. Bear
left to Diamond Point/ Bolton Landing, make a
left at the light. Proceed 1.9 miles m/l to the
Green Harbour sign on your left, make left into
driveway. (Use caution as the Green Harbour sign
is set back a bit from the road). Continue up
the steep hill, bearing right all the way, until
you hit the forest line. Bear left to #33. The
unit has an Adirondack-style sign with my last
name on it.

THE DRIVE
I live in Westchester and have made it frequently in 3-1/2 hours. Never
over four. From Manhattan, it's about 210 miles. Of course if you live
north of NYC, it's even less. When you drive to Green Harbour you will
spend all but the last two miles on the thruway/northway. Traffic can
appear to be heavy but you will almost always be moving along at 65, and
hopefully will arrive ready to enjoy yourself.

IF BOOKED
I am in touch regularly with other Green Harbour

Harbour owner.

you will receive approximately two weeks before
your stay begins.

past the dumpster, up the road by the tennis court.
